Qualifying Course Requirement

BA or better in three of four core graduate courses: GEOS 5120, 5160, 5550 and selected 5000/6000 level sed/strat courses

Completed no later than the second full year in residence

Demonstrate proficiency in two appropriate research tools – one of which must be outside of the student’s declared core area of study.
